Learnover - Concept

The Global Classroom Learnover is an opportunity for students and staff planning to take part in the forthcoming Global Classroom Conference being hosted by Ridgewood High School, New Jersey, USA in June 2010 to share ideas about global learning in preparation for and in advance of meeting at the Conference.

The Learnover is scheduled to happen on 4^th February 2010 at 13.00 GMT for ninety minutes. The proposed second session is merged into the one at 13.00GMT. During this session as many students intending to take part in the Global Classroom Conference in June and as many interested staff as possible are invited to participate.

Participants will discuss eight questions covering five themes addressed in a new publication by Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education in Scotland entitled: Learning Together, International Education, Responsible Citizens. A copy of the questions for discussion as well as the invitation to the discussion are available under the documentation.

During the Global Classroom Learnover session members of Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education in Scotland will participate as part of the launch of their publication.
